This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and the rights you have over your information.
Another Brother is operated by Issac Greaves trading as Another Brother.

We do not intentionally collect more personal information than we reasonably need.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We may use your personal information to:
-
Process your Join the Crew questionnaire

Understand the types of trips, events and experiences our community is interested in

Completing the Join the Crew questionnaire does not automatically mean that you have consented to receive marketing emails. Where consent is required for marketing, we will ask for it separately.
3. OUR LAWFUL BASES FOR USING YOUR INFORMATION
Under UK data protection law, we need a lawful basis for processing personal information.
Depending on why we are using your information, we may rely on:
Consent — for example, where you have chosen to receive certain marketing communications.
Contract — where processing your information is necessary to provide something you have requested or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
Legitimate interests — where it is reasonably necessary to operate and administer Another Brother, respond to enquiries, understand our community and improve our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Legal obligation — where we need to process or retain information to comply with a legal requirement.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
4. JOIN THE CREW
Another Brother is built around helping adult men connect through shared travel, events and experiences.
We use information submitted through the Join the Crew questionnaire to understand who is joining the community, their interests and the types of activities they may wish to participate in.
Completing the questionnaire may be required before participating in certain Another Brother events or community activities.
We will not use questionnaire responses to make solely automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
5. WHATSAPP AND FACEBOOK GROUPS
Members may be offered the opportunity to join Another Brother community groups hosted using WhatsApp and Facebook.
Joining these groups is optional.
If you choose to join a third-party community platform, information associated with your account may become visible to other members according to that platform's functionality and your own privacy settings.
Those services are operated by third parties and their own privacy policies and terms also apply.
We recommend reviewing your privacy settings before joining any community group.
6. EMAILS AND MARKETING
We may send you operational emails that are necessary to respond to something you have done — for example, confirmation after completing the Join the Crew questionnaire or information relating to an event or enquiry.
Marketing communications are treated separately.
Where required, we will only send marketing communications where you have provided the appropriate consent or where another lawful basis permits us to do so.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option included in those communications or by contacting:
issac@another-brother.co
Withdrawing marketing consent will not prevent us from sending necessary administrative or transactional communications relating to something you have requested.

We do not sell your personal information.
We may use trusted service providers to help us operate Another Brother, including providers involved in:
-
Website hosting and website management

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where international transfers of personal data occur, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the information is protected in accordance with applicable data protection law.
8. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting and administrative requirements.
The appropriate retention period depends on the type of information and why we hold it.
For example, we may retain information while you remain involved with Another Brother and for an appropriate period afterwards where it is necessary to maintain records, deal with enquiries, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
Information used solely on the basis of consent will no longer be used for that purpose if you withdraw your consent, although we may retain limited information where necessary to record your preference or comply with legal obligations.
9. COOKIES AND WEBSITE TECHNOLOGIES
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, understand website usage and provide functionality.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies or similar technologies may require your consent.
Where consent is required, you will be given an appropriate choice through the website's cookie controls.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
We will provide further information about the cookies used on the website through our cookie settings or cookie notice where appropriate.
The ICO currently says visitors must be told about cookies and what they do, and that consent is generally required for cookies that aren't strictly necessary.
10. KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SECURE
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
11. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including the right to:

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as Another Brother develops, our services change or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this website with the date it was last updated.
